King of Jars is 8PG's blind judging cannabis quality competition. Two categories, Rosin and Flower. Thirty competitors in each. Every entry is blind and randomized. 110 judges per category evaluate privately over a 30 day window. Winners are revealed live at a full scale 8PG event in Los Angeles on September 19, 2026. Total prize pool is $45,000.

September 19, 2026. The live event is in Los Angeles, where both $20,000 category winners are revealed on stage in front of 1,000 plus guests.

There are four tiers. General Admission is $25 per person. VIP is $250 per person. Judges Kit is $500 per kit (limited availability). High Roller is $2,500 per package. Every tier gets you into the live reveal. Judges Kit and High Roller include a direct role in the competition.

The total prize pool is $45,000. $20,000 for 1st Place Rosin. $20,000 for 1st Place Flower. $5,000 People's Choice award voted on at the event.

Every entry is distributed in blind labeled jars supplied by 8PG. Each Judges Kit receives the same entries in a different randomized order, so no judge can be influenced by the brand behind any entry. Scoring is submitted through secure digital pages tied to each kit. Results are locked before the doors open on September 19.

Each category is evaluated by 110 judges. 100 of those are 8PG members who purchased Judges Kits, and 10 are invited industry figures. Scoring is split evenly between 8PG members and invited judges.

The Judges Kit includes 30 blind labeled KOJ Miron jars, a King of Jars electric cooler, a full custom kit (sesh tray, terp set, grinder, torch, glass tip, moodmat, cleaning kit, dab tool, signature hoodie, embroidered cap, duffle bag, branded tote, magnetic presentation box, steel RFID 8PG membership card, event lanyard, judges wristband, numbered participation certificate, and more), full VIP event access, and the digital scoring page tied to your kit.

Yes. The Judges Kit includes the full VIP experience for you and one guest at the event on September 19.

High Roller is the top tier at King of Jars. It includes a private furnished 10x10 space at the event, access for you plus 4 guests, a dedicated runner assigned to your section, Blackvale transportation, full VIP hospitality, and a Judges Kit for one category. It is the most complete way to experience the event.

Yes. 100 Judges Kits are available per category, 200 total. They move on a first come first served basis. Once they are gone, only VIP access will remain without a judging role.

All Judges Kits are delivered by August 1, 2026. Pickup or delivery is available across Orange County and Los Angeles. From that point you have a full 30 day private window to evaluate every entry on your own setup.

All scoring must be submitted by 11:59 PM on August 31, 2026. No late submissions are accepted.

Brands apply through the Competitor Application. Submission is required for consideration. Unverifiable applications are not accepted. The 8PG team reviews every application and follows up directly. Entries are due July 25, 2026, with kits distributed by August 1.

8PG membership is the only way into King of Jars as a judge or guest, and first access to every upcoming 8PG event. It is free to join. Members get earlier entry, priority on limited tiers, and members only communications.

Valid government ID is required at check in. King of Jars 2026 is 21+.

You can purchase an additional tier at any time while supplies remain. Judges Kits are strictly limited and expected to sell out. VIP follows. General Admission capacity is fixed.
